Greetings President
Dear Fellows,
It is a great honor to serve as the President of the Indonesian Heart Rhythm Society for the 2025–2028 term. I am deeply grateful for the trust and support given to me and for the spirit of collaboration that continues to strengthen our society.
Since its establishment in 2013, InaHRS has grown from a small working group into a respected national organization recognized across the Asia Pacific region. Over the years we have made steady progress in developing arrhythmia care in Indonesia through education, research, and the expansion of electrophysiology services. The dedication of our members and the support of our partners have been the key driving forces behind these achievements.
Today InaHRS represents a vibrant community of physicians and allied professionals who share the same vision of improving patient care and advancing cardiac rhythm management in our country. In the coming years we will focus on enhancing training opportunities, supporting young electrophysiologists, strengthening national collaboration, and promoting innovation to ensure that quality arrhythmia services are accessible to all Indonesians.
Together we will continue to move forward with optimism and unity building on the foundation laid by our predecessors and preparing InaHRS for an even brighter future.
With gratitude and respect

History
Interventional therapies for arrhythmia have progressed rapidly in the past few decades. There is a rapid growing trend for electrophysiologic procedure and implantation of cardiac implantable electronic devices. The amount is expected to be growing fast in the coming years because of increasing awareness. However, significant inequalities exist in healthcare in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia.
Unfortunately at the present time, the number of cardiologist in Indonesia is limited. Approximately 500 cardiologist serving a population of 250 million, among them only a limited member of cardiac electrophysiologists.
The Indonesian Heart Rhythm society was established in april 2013 during the 23rd Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Heart Association (ASMIHA) in Jakarta, as a working group for electrophysiology and pacing of the Indonesian Heart Association.
The idea was to promote scientifically, technological, and clinical development for interventional therapies of cardiac arrhytmia but also improve healthcare for patients
Indonesian Heart Rhythm Society (InaHRS) has a commitment to improve health of heart rhythm disorder in Indonesia.
